THE THEME OF OUR NEXT ISSUE IS REPRODUCTION

The theme of each issue serves as a through line that draws into conversation a wide array of ideas and forms. We like to think of it as a guide, framework, or lens. That being said, it need not (necessarily) be explicit in your work, and can be approached in many different ways (e.g. literally, figuratively, metaphorically, theoretically, poetically, politically; enacted, illustrated, implied, defined, questioned, challenged, critiqued, etc.).

In short, we urge contributors to consider each theme not as a prescription, but as an open-ended point of departure.
